OUR STORY
Upwood Avenue began with two childhood friends, Ed Corrado and Piero Minelli, growing up across the street from each other in Toronto. Ed lived at 60 and Piero at 63 — the numbers that now appear in the Upwood Avenue logo.
Decades later, that friendship is still at the heart of the band. Ed and Piero are both songwriters, multi-instrumentalists and lead vocalists, creating melodic Canadian rock shaped by a lifetime of listening, writing and playing music together.
Drawing inspiration from bands including The Who, The Tragically Hip, Sloan, The Clash and Sam Roberts Band, Upwood Avenue combines big guitars, memorable choruses and classic-rock energy with songs about relationships, reflection, getting older and everything that happens along the way.
Since releasing their first music, Upwood Avenue has surpassed one million Spotify streams and received radio support in Canada and internationally. Their catalogue includes songs such as “Two Souls,” “If I Was God,” “Thunder,” “What’s Wrong With You?,” “The Mirror” and their latest release, “Time (Remix 2026).”
After decades of friendship, Upwood Avenue is still doing what started it all: two friends making music together.

63 + 60. Where it all started.
The numbers in the Upwood Avenue logo aren't random.
Growing up in Toronto, Piero lived at 63 Upwood Avenue and Ed lived directly across the street at 60. Those two houses were where a lifelong friendship began — and, eventually, where the story of Upwood Avenue began too.
Decades later, 6360 has become a symbol of where we came from: two childhood friends, one Toronto street, and a lifetime of music.
